FRAGILE: HANDLE WITH CARE
art & fashion editorial by Pablo Sermar & team hailing from Berlin

Merging traditional elements such as traditional Scottish wear and fur coats with cutting-edge jewelry and accessories allows me to create a challenging image that I portray on a day-to-day basis.
The use of hard realistic makeup and the element of the chain helps me broadcast the struggle of the queer youth that faces the challenge of being persecuted for expressing realistic apparel of themselves on daily activities such as going to work, taking public transport, or engaging in any social activity, thus, what might appear to be a very banal activity it can unwrap to be a defiance.
As he navigates the turbulent waters of boyhood and the transition into adulthood, he finds himself caught in a relentless battle of self-discovery and acceptance. Each smile is a facade masking the turmoil within, a facade that crumbles under the weight of his own expectations.

The protagonist, a twenty-something boy, grapples with the weight of expectations he’s placed upon himself. Looking fabulous while the storm is at its highest peak. A desperate pursuit of desire and an egoistic fight for one’s lather climb. smiling through the pain while teetering on the edge of madness.

The title of the photoshoot refers to popular phrase "BASIC BITCH" which is slightly changed here to "BICYC".
Now, while motorcycles theme is pretty trendy and we can see a lot of photoshoots with them, I want to move away from this theme to similar, but way more untypical one. I want to represent fragile but curios, innocent but sexual image of girl riding bicycle.

Basic Bitch
Someone who is unflinchingly upholding of the status quo and stereotypes of their gender without even realizing it. She engages in typical, unoriginal behaviors, modes of dress, speech, and likes. She is tragically/laughably

Boxing, with its focus on physical force and violence, is predominantly associated with hegemonic masculinity. The boxing ring mostly functions as a zone for fighting between real men', it is aversive to anything feminine and homosexual. As a photoshoot team consisting of queer men, we distance ourselves from toxic masculinity and attempt to deconstruct and queer its traditional images. In this editorial, brutal is transformed into campy, aggressive - into vulnerable, violent - into kinky. We place the figure of a boxer at the intersection of irony, eros, melancholy and spectacle, suggesting a different way of looking at the gendered body in the context of sport.

LES CHAÎNES :
This is a visual project whose purpose is to explore the field of eroticism from an alternative perspective to the one we are taught in the media. This project is based on the erotic conception of George Bataille who proposed that eroticism is "essentially the field of violence". Violated cruelty is erotic because of its representation of a beauty that borders on destruction or is driven towards it. It is an artistic and psychoanalytical inquiry into emotional bondage and social prohibitions, as well as an exploration of provocative eroticism with a clear influence from the world of BDSM and traces of the queer world.
With a photography inspired by the advertising posters of designers such as Issey Miyake in the magazines of the 1990s, it intends to narrate with more fidelity this kind of feeling. Certainly in the treatment of these themes, there is always a denial of the violent nature of the social that aims to place thoughts like mine in the field of irrationality, while everyday social life takes place in the midst of numerous forms of excess, dilapidation, and taste for violence and suffering.

Masculinity's redemption
CONCEPT:
This is what to expect in the next era of fashion, genderless dressing. That which defined the concept of
masculinity is being overthrown in the steady pace of a new conception of the social construct of gender and
its manifestation. This fusion encapsulates an anticipated shift towards a gender-inclusive generation and
what better way to represent this than through the communicative power of fashion. Through changing
silhouettes and an unabashed expression of sexuality this session aims to express a new model of non-
normative and provocative male expression.
